As a part of the events surrounding our pilgrimage exhibition, Dunwich Museum will be leading a secular pilgrimage walk from St Peters Church in Westleton to St James Church in Dunwich, making our way across the beautiful heath land and following the old Roman Road to Dunwich.

An art show featuring local artists and art will be held in the Dunwich Reading Room from the 2nd to the 5th of August.

An early evening feast of medieval inspired fare, with folk music by the Dunwich Drifters and a Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales reading.

Blake's Shingle Street collaboration with the band celebrated Suffolk landscapes and seascapes. Now he has widened his scope to encompass themes of elation, regret, nostalgia, sensuality and domestic mishap. There's a sense of passing time or ‘timefulness’ – of fading memories, missed chances and the coming of age - but his touch remains light throughout.

A booked workshop on leaf printing, led by a fabric artist. Learn about the process and create your own leaf printed art in the Dunwich Reading Room. This workshop is free and open to all ages. The printing process can get a bit messy, so please wear clothes you are alright with getting a bit dirty and/or bring an apron.
